Cassandra Dunham - Workforce Development, Champaign County Regional Planning Commission

Cassandra will discuss direct support to local employers through state and federally funded programs to reduce the cost of upskilling current employees, training new employees, developing customized training programs and averting layoffs.

Cassandra manages grant funding for LWIA 17, focusing on Incumbent Worker and On-The-Job training. She's helped secure over $136,000 in funding for 13 local employers and facilitated On-The-Job training opportunities, saving employers over $60,000.00 and benefiting over 15 individuals. Her work drives workforce development in the community.
